I know the home workouts I post every now and then are well received, so let’s start the week off with another one.

Try this winter warmer on for size:

1) Prisoner Squat Push Ups x 10 (do a prisoner squat, then go straight down into a push up and back up again – great for getting your heart rate up!)

2) Tabletop Hold x 30 secs

3) Reverse Lunges x 15/15

4) Side to Side Hovers x 15

5) Leg Shuffles x 50

Repeat x 4

This workout is a short one that should take you 10-15 minutes, but don’t scoff at that.

These five exercises are designed to hit everything.

And get your heart rate up.

The beauty of these types of bodyweight workouts, the sort of stuff that I do in my own home workouts, and funnily enough the same sort of stuff I’ve used to help drop a kilo or three over the last couple of weeks,

just proves that you don’t need to commit endless hours of time to this cause.

Even a 10-20 minute workout, when done correctly, is all you need to get the heart rate up and the kilos down.

The whole point is to prove this type of stuff is doable, and that’s just what my book that is almost finished is all about.

As far as I’m concerned the days of having to commit hours and hours to exercise just isn’t possible for everyone these days and that’s where my book will come in.
