Wanna know how to get everyone all pissed off and worked up in 5 letters?

Trump.

I said before the election that I was just waiting for Ashton Kutcher to pop up in his big comeback and say we’ve all been Punk’d.

Remember that show?

The whole thing just comes across as a bit of a piss take doesn’t it?

Anyways, the only reason I’m talking about Trump today, is because something really amuses me about all the people protesting.

Where on this green earth were you when it came time to vote?!

See, the other week there was a massive protest in Portland.

70% of the muppets that got arrested were proven not to have voted according to one of their local news bulletins.

Can you believe that.

All these professional protestors whinging about something they didn’t even care enough to have a vote in initially.

To be honest I don’t really care what side of the fence you sit on re Trump.

I’m not going to waste any energy getting all worked up about something I can’t control.

Yes, I think he’s a muppet and a lose cannon who does whatever he wants.

But I can’t really do anything about it can I?

And you know what all these people have in common with someone who complains that they can’t lose their stubborn tummy flab?

They both whinge about nothing happening, or not being able to do anything,

despite the fact they never put in the work in the first place!

I may not be the smartest bloke in the room, but really,

you can’t really whinge when you haven’t put in the work can you?

Make sense?

Remember, like I always say to anyone who’s on this DPM journey –

we’re not looking for perfection,

just progress.

Read that again if you have too.

Cause if today is better than yesterday and this week is better than last week – you’re in front.

Whether it’s actually getting off your arse and casting a vote before whinging about the result,

or putting in the work to make sure you follow something like the DPM food plan and our short, yet effective workouts.

You gotta do the work.

Don’t be like the masses.

Walk your own path.

* Wednesday Lunch Break 1:15-1:45pm at Dawes Point under the Harbour Bridge

* Saturday at Observatory Hill 8-9am
