With yesterday being the first sessions back for 2022 I thought it would be a good opportunity for a bit of boring housekeeping today.
I think it’s important to at least let you know where I stand in regards to what’s going on right now.
Sessions will continue in person until the plague (I heard someone refer to it as that the other day and I liked it, so I’m running with it!) gets me.
BUT if you’re more comfortable training from home that’s cool too and you can do zoom – just let me know so I can fire it up.
Just to reinforce though, that the benefit of outdoor training is we are, funnily enough, outdoors. And we’re socially distanced so you are doing the best possible thing to limit risk.
Also, if you’re currently in plague jail and have to stay home, if you’re up for it I’m happy to do your session via zoom as it might help you fill in some time.
Obviously if you’re crook it’s probably better to sit it out, but if you’ve got no symptoms like a lot are reporting now, then let’s roll.
As for boxing, well I’m in 2 minds about it.
For those who’ve already recovered after their stint I figure you’d be sweet to do it and I’d be happy to hold the pads for you cause you’d have the best type of immunity out there for the short term at least I’d imagine.
For everyone else, it’s probably better to stick with shadow boxing but that’s up to you, and for the one on one pt, I’ll pause the boxing for the time being.
Anyways, I know that’s a kinda boring message for a Friday, but one that is probably better off addressing anyways.
Hopefully that reassures you that I’m going to be doing the best I can to keep us both as plague free as we can.
PS – if you know someone who is looking to get a start on something this year, hopefully the above reassures them, and I’d appreciate you spreading the word and passing on the link below or even forwarding this email to them.
