Decided to step away from the usual fitness content today and ask you to take a step forward for a bit.

As for the time frame, I’m not really sure how long we need to fast forward to, but let’s assume that everything is getting finally getting back to normal again.

And we’re allowed to go out and go to places.

You’re allowed to go out to dinner and have your big family gatherings again.

So which brings me to my question for today.

What are you most looking forward to doing again?

Something that we once took for granted, but can now no longer do.

For me, there’s a couple of things.

First of all, I’m looking forward to being able to have a big family gathering again.

Where all the kids can run around and play with each other again.
And us adults can sit back and have a drink without having to do it via zoom.

I’m also looking forward to something as simple as just going out to a cafe and being able to sit down and have a meal there.

Both of those things will be nice.

And I’m actually looking forward to the earlier alarm again which will mean that I can actually get out and see the DPM groups face to face.

It’s great that we can still connect via zoom workouts but it will be pretty awesome again to see each other face to face.

So what’s your thing you’re looking forward to doing again when we can finally get back to living life properly again?

All of this actually brings me to think of this – I wonder how long it will take before all of that stuff gets taken for granted again.

People I can guarantee right now saying that they won’t take XYZ for granted again, but I wonder how long it will take once things are allowed to resume again before the novelty wears off and we go back to the way things were before.

Taking things for granted again.

Weeks?

Months?

Hopefully not, but the reality is that things do go back to normal once the usual grind sets back in.

Anyways, at least we have something to look forward to get back to – however long ahead that may be.
