There’s a few things I’ve planned this year to make your DPM experience something that you look forward to, and to help you get the most out of your training and motivation this year.
The first thing we need to do is reschedule the Christmas Drinks that I had to can when we were stuck in isolation last month.
The original plan was for late Feb, once again at Cargo.
The good thing there is it’s outdoors so that’s a plus.
I’ll wait until the start of Feb and see how things are looking before I either go ahead with a booking or turf it.
As for the challenges that we tend to run, I’ve planned in 3 this year.
The first one will be a 6 week challenge kicking off February 7th.
I wanted to give people the chance to get this month out of the way with plenty of people still on holidays and school holidays etc.
I’m planning a shorter 21 day challenge for winter this year for something different.
It’ll be a little bit different to the normal format so stay tuned for that one cause I’m excited to see how it plays out.
That’ll start on July 4.
Then the final 6 week challenge for the year will be starting October 24 which will take us up to the festive season.
Last but not least, and probably the biggest change this year is something I mentioned more details of last week.
Basically, it’s an incentive for you to get to training.
Each session you attend gives you a ticket into the end of month draw.
Every personal training session you attend gives you 2 tickets cause they have a higher investment associated.
If you attend every session you’re supposed to, you’ll get plenty of tickets in the ‘raffle’.
And if you missed the prize I announced last week, it’s a good un.
The winner from the randomised draw (I’ll use random.org to run this and the winner will be the one who’s name comes up first on the last of the randomised rounds) will get a bottle of premium red from one of my favourite boutique Hunter Valley wineries.
Each draw will be filmed too to prove it’s all above board and completely random.
Depending on which one is available at that time of the year, the value is anywhere from $50-$75 and the 2 that I have in mind are well worth your attention.
Of course, if there’s anything else you’d like to see, or if you have something you’re keen to work towards, or together on, then i’d love to hear it so I can help keep you accountable, or work on a plan to help you get there.
Just hit reply and let me know what’s on your mind.
Looking forward to a successful year for you and your training!
