Don’t know whether you struggle with sleep or not?

Right now I am big time.

It’s not a regular thing for me to deal with luckily, but right now I’m struggling.

And for me, I’m not a person who can only sleep a few hours and be fine.

I need more otherwise I feel like I’m running on empty in between caffeine hits.

Getting to sleep is sweet for the most part, it’s more so waking up in the middle of the night and not being able to go back to sleep for ages, if at all if I wake later.

The mind starts racing and thinking of pretty much everything.

Even singing random songs in my head that I heard a week ago.

Stuff that I’d normally try like the deep breathing and telling my brain to relax each body part as I work my way down doesn’t even get far before the mind starts wondering again.

So I’m open to suggestions from you if this is something that you may be familiar with and found a solution.

What works for you if you wake up and tend to struggle getting back?

Not after a pity party, but practical solutions would be appreciated.
