I’ve always thought anyone who wears crocs in public, or maybe even at all,

should be shot on sight.

Well maybe not shot, but you know what I mean right.

it’s a pretty ordinary crime against fashion wouldn’t you agree?

And while I never claim to be a fashionista or whatever the people in the know call them,

I do know that crocs aren’t cool.

How they ever sold over 300 million pairs world wide I’ll never understand.

Anyways, turns out podiatrists think the same thing about crocs.

You shouldn’t be caught dead in them.

According to those in the know:

“these shoes do not adequately secure the heel.

When the heel is unstable, toes tend to grip which can lead to tendinitis,

worsening of toe deformities, nail problems, corns and calluses.

The same thing can happen with flip flops (thongs)

or any backless shoes as the heel is not secured.”

So there you go.

Anyways, if you persist in wearing them, or know someone who does,

despite in need for a “croc-intervention”,

they are only recommended in short, sharp intervals.

Kinda like what we do here at Team DPM.

While I won’t make you wear crocs,

we do train in short, sharp bursts of intensity.

The stuff that gets your heart rate up and lets you do as much as you can in as little time as possible.

The stuff that gets results.

And gets people staring at you for the right reason

– cause you got hot.

Not cause you’re wearing some dodgy footwear.

Sounds like something you may be interested in doing to help you get back on track?
