Granted, he never took a pill, but woke up unable to lie after his kid made a wish.
So here’s some truth serum.
Good or bad.
You Aren’t Who You Used to Be
It doesn’t matter whether you could run for k’s or lift for days.
Time got in the way.
You got out of the habit.
You got older.
We got older.
God knows my body tells me that everyday I wake up.
And seeing as I just turned 40 the other week,
my chronological age is catching up to how old the body feels!
So here’s the deal:
* When you start off getting back in the groove with us at Team DPM – you won’t be smashed
* You won’t be made to train until you vomit
* You work at your pace
* And build up slowly
* You won’t have to train in the rain (we’ll move undercover – cause I don’t wanna get wet either!)
* Oh, and the biggie – like I mentioned last month – you’ll never have to do Burpees again!
Or sit ups/crunches. Cause I hate them too (plus they’re bad for your back)
Then guess what happens?
– Before you know it, you’re able to do more
– You don’t hurt as much after each workout
– You might even actually start to enjoy it
Yep it’s possible.
Just remember you aren’t who you used to be.
You don’t have to start out a thousand miles and hour.
Neither of us are 21 any longer.
So we can’t train like that.
We train smart.
The DPM way.
