With the royals being in the news this week, I guess someone thought it was a good idea to go back down the Princess Diana path.

Normally I couldn’t give two flying you know what’s about anything they do, but clickbait got me when the headline was Princess Diana’s PT Reveals Her Most Hated Exercise.

Ok, I’ll bite.

Cause I was curious to know what the cool kids were doing back in the 90’s before my time.

I may have been around for a while but I haven’t been around that long.

So it turns out her most hated exercise was a weighted walking lunge.

That’s pretty cool to know.

And very effective.

I guess if the list was made now, most peoples most hated exercise would be a burpee.

That’s one reason why I don’t do them.

Cause unlike a lot of trainers, I don’t wear a badge of honour cause I beasted someone in a training session.

The whole point is not to flog you.

It’s to make you better.

Be that stronger, fitter, healthier, leaner. Whatever.

So I found it interesting that she hated those.

And also interesting that even though she died 25 years ago that exercise is still around – cause it works.
