You and I both know the reasons to exercise.

I don’t need to go into those today as I’m obviously preaching to the converted.

But I did read something interesting that you may find worth checking out.

It’s the five best types of exercise according to a Harvard doctor.

Now, there’s types of lists are all subjective and one persons favourite is another persons nightmare.

Just as my kids what I think of vegemite.

And you know my opinion on burpees, despite most trainers using it as their staple go-to move.

Anways, I figure a Harvard doctor is worth listening to then you can make your own opinion.

So here’s his list:

1. Walking
2. Strength training
3. Yoga
4. Swimming
5. Biking

Now I can’t argue with those.

And while they may not all be my cup of tea, I can’t argue that they don’t work.

The best thing is it covers pretty much anything for everyone.

So even the hardest to please person could find something in that list that they could do.

You know I’m going to be partial to strength training – be that body weight or using an outside resistance.

And I love walking too.

Especially at this time of year.

That’s my game plan.

But like I said, I can’t argue the others.

Find something you like and run with it.
