It’s been a bit of a bumpy start to the year for some people, so hopefully if that is you, then you’ll get benefit out of what I’ve got to share today.

And for those who have had a good start to the year so far, then this is definitely worth paying attention to.

There’s one commodity that I think will be your best asset this year.

It’s not a RAT test.

Or a mask.

Or anything controversial.

It’s actually your own health.

So the best gift that you can give yourself this year is you investing in your own health.

That means taking care of yourself.

It means getting in some exercise.

It means getting some vitamin d and getting outside and breathing fresh air.

It means eating plenty of fruits and vegetables and all the other good stuff that keeps the body firing on optimum.

And the little thing that a lot of people forget is sleep.

Get as much as you realistically can – obviously if you have toddlers or babies their idea of what you need is not what you really need!

Of course that doesn’t mean you have to eat rabbit food and drink green smoothies all the time.

Let your hair down of course every now and then, but you can’t let the body continuously run on empty and expect it to give you the best output.

As you can see with the way things are unfolding in the community now, it’s probably not a matter of if, but when so put your body in the best possible shape to fight off whatever may be thrown at you.

There’s no shiny pill or magic exercise vaccine, you just have to roll your sleeves up and commit the time to doing something.

And if you find you need help with that accountability, or know someone who does, well that’s where I come in.

I’m always happy to help work out a plan specific for you and your situation.

And with more DPMers returning to action this week, your best time to start doing something again is right away.

Invest in your health and your body will pay dividends when you need it most. That’s one thing I’m confident on right now.
