Something a little different today, and this little something might help make up your mind if you’re thinking about joining our 8 Week Transformation Contest.
By the way, if you indicated last week you were keen and haven’t yet pulled the trigger – do so here.
You’ll get access to all the stuff you need (that I mentioned yesterday) – including the download page and early sneak peak at my book in pdf format before I post your hard copy – within 24 hours.
This little bit of info revolves around compression gear that is all the rage in workouts now.
Do you wear them?
There’s a difference between tights and actual compression tights and according to research they can make a positive difference to your performance.
The big beauty of it, according to one of the researchers in a study I came across, mentioned that what people actually expected from the clothes helped sway their mind about whether the gear worked or not.
In other words a placebo effect.
That’s not to say there isn’t any other actual benefits – like faster recovery and so forth, but this perception was a big factor.
And if your fancy workout gear helps your mind think that getting ready for a workout isn’t all bad,
and something that you can benefit from, then in my view, it can’t be a bad thing right?
Not to mention if you feel better when you’re actually wearing that gear – cause you look good in it and it makes you feel better, once again, that’s not a bad thing at all.
So if that’s what gets you over the line to join us in our transformation contest which starts on Monday, then who am I to complain?
Whatever does the job.
Put on your fancy workout gear.
Go and buy some new stuff if you really want.
Wear it around all day if you have too.
You know that whole leisure wear as normal wear thing that’s big now – you may well even do this anyways.
I don’t see an issue with it.
Think it’s a good thing actually.
Whatever makes you feel good.
And can you do me a favour?
If you do this, let me know if it works for you.
My workout gear isn’t some fancy Lorna Jane or Lulu Lemon stuff (just a DPM t-shirt and some shorts) so I can’t give you the inside mail whether that works or not!
PS – confirm your place by clicking this JOIN NOW button to lock in your spot and get early bird discount investment of only $199 which includes bonus access to the DPM Short ‘N Sweet All-In Package before your book arrives, as well as the early head start on those who’ll join later this week
