Got a random Linked In inbox out of the blue earlier this week asking whether I was bringing the Small Business Dads podcast back for a second season at all.
Was a nice surprise to get that to be honest, and from someone that I didn’t know personally, but it turns out there are still listeners out there even though the last episode went out in November.
Anyways, I thought it was a valid question.
I was thinking about it the other week that I should run it back again for another season, but I hadn’t given it much thought about how I’d do it.
Considering that the times I used to most of the calls I can’t really do anymore due to things being more back to normal calendar wise this year than last when I took the initiative to start the show.
It was fun to chat to a bunch of blokes, mostly all of which I had no idea who they were beforehand. Just hearing their stories, about their families, their wins and their losses.
Not all of them are million dollar success stories, most are just working hard to do the right thing by their family – and prioritising being involved in their kids life, rather than the work to the bone mentality of the old days where the kids were a bit of an inconvenience to being an adult.
So now I’m wondering whether I should put some more time into another series.
What do you think?
If you’re interested to hear what it’s all about, or to find out who has featured on the show so far, you can find it where ever you listen to podcasts – Apple, Spotify, iHeartRadio etc etc.
Or you can check out the website link below:
So let me know, should I run it back for a shorter season (definitely not 52 episodes like last year!), and if you’re keen to hear it – would you, or anyone you know be a good bloke to have a chat with.
The only qualifier is they must actually care about being a dad.
Not just business 100% of the time.
Let me know of anyone you know who might make a good listen.
