Just like The Doors said, people are strange.
There’s one thing about some people that never ceases to amaze me.
People will spend an absolute fortune on buying a nice car or really nice clothes from high end labels,
they’ll put the expensive premium fuel in their cars so it runs better.
Yet at the same time they’ll neglect to spend money and invest in themselves to keep their body running as optimally as they run their cars.
Maybe it’s me, but I find that confusing.
Of course I’m not saying you have to live on lettuce leaves and tuna and workout every day.
Anyone that knows me or has been reading these for long enough knows that.
There’s always a balance.
But in saying that there’s plenty of people who miss that balance.
Think about it like this.
We take our cars to the mechanic for a regular service so it doesn’t break down.
What about our bodies?
The regular service for that is a regular workout routine.
Yet too many miss this or say they’re too busy.
Only to have to pay the price later when their body fails them.
Obviously I’m preaching to the converted here. I don’t need to tell you that.
I just find it kinda amazing.
Now, if you happen to know someone like this who might need a bit of friendly encouragement to start the year off on the right note, let me know and we can get them along to one of our DPM sessions this year.
We’re back on Monday.
I’ll even make it worth yours and their worthwhile too with the little incentive that’s part of the DPM VIP program.
Look forward to helping you out, and your friends this year.
