Got a simple message to reinforce today.

I’ve said it before in various ways over the years, but they all have the same message.

And a quote I read yesterday is just another great way of putting it.

“Just like one salad won’t catapult you to your goal, one big meal won’t throw you back right where you started. What you do most of the time is what matters”.

This is a very important thing to remember, especially at this time of year.
With Christmas gatherings and functions and the like, we’re both going to overindulge one way or another.

Possibly even a couple of times in a week.

It is what it is.

So in this point, the most of the time means if you’re eating right for most of the week, and getting in your workouts of course – and whatever other exercise you want to throw in – then you’re still in front.

Don’t beat yourself up when you have a big feast.

Enjoy it.

Use it as a reward of sorts for your hard work, then get back in the action saddle the next day.

It’s a better type of motivation tool than beating yourself up cause you ‘failed’ on your plan don’t you think?

Cheers,
Daniel
