    Despite your body losing muscle at a rate of 3-8% per decade after 30 (yes 30!), you can actually reverse this with the combination of HIIT and resistance training (Mayo Clinic, 2017) because the more muscle you have (and no you won't get bulky), your metabolism will be higher and you'll burn more calories even when you're sitting at your desk after a workout (some studies show up to 25% more calories burned in the hour after your workout, and this factor can last for up to 48 hours after just one workout!).
