But may give you something else to ponder on a Monday if you’re looking for something to distract you from that work you want to keep putting off.

But this one just makes you shake your head and wonder for the future of humanity.

Or maybe it’s the good old buffalo theory coming true.

You know, the slowest buffalo in the jungle gets caught by the lion.

So only the strong (and the fast) survive.

I guess that’s what’s happening here.

The slow buffalos are dropping off.

But one of the dumbest ways to die that caught my eye takes the Killer Workout tag a little too far.

Seems like some space cadets thought it’d be a good idea to do planks (or hovers as I call them) on a balcony ledge and surprise, surprise – fell off.

The other one that I don’t recommend is the chin up (or pull up) while hanging off the said balcony edge.

Seems like 26 muppets (or buffalos) have died from this according to Mens Health.


Of course the plank and the chin up (and their variations) are some of my favourite exercises.

They are super effective.

They can be manipulated in a number of ways to get a great hit out so you’re getting a lot of bang for your exercise buck just from movements like this.

And other reason why they feature in a LOT of DPM workouts, either the ones we do in person in our small group sessions or via the home workout online training.
