I’ve never claimed to be the smartest bloke in the room,

but I’d like to think I’ve got a fair amount of common sense.

But this truly had me baffled.

You see, last week I spent a bit of time visiting hospital.

And one thing I just couldn’t understand,

Despite there being vending machines everywhere, plus a cafeteria of sorts

(reading between the lines – crap everywhere = take your picks, cakes, chips, chocolates, soft drinks etc).

With one big omission.

All the soft drinks were no sugar or diet.

Not the real deal.

Now if you’ve been following along for a while, you’d know I love a coke or three.

But this time I stayed strong and didn’t want one.

Luckily (cause if I’m wanting one I’m not drinking the zero or diet rubbish, I’m going all out).

It just caught my eye.

Side note, I’ve actually gone alright with the no soft drink thing for the last couple of months.

So what’s the deal?

How come you can sell all the sugar ladder garbage in a hospital like the stuff I’ve already mentioned, but they draw the line at sugar in actual soft drinks?

Even gatorade I noticed was the flavoured water version (didn’t even know that existed) and not the real deal.

Call me confused, but shouldn’t it be all or nothing?

Or maybe I just think too much.

Anyways, all this confusion shouldn’t be surprising, considering all the conflicting information and misinformation that’s about on what to eat and what you shouldn’t eat.

But here at DPM all the confusion is removed.

It’s actually pretty simple to make things happen.

And I won’t make you go all counting calories and sticking to diet foods.

Want a wine or three?

Go for it.

Even a coke.

Go for your life.

There’s nothing off limit.

Sure, it’s not a free for all, but it’s actually a pretty common sense take on food.

And every DPMer has access to this DPM food plan.
