Kinda funny how I’d scheduled an email to go out on Monday morning about how great the Spring weather is, (like it was when I wrote in on Friday), only to find that come the exact time the email hit your inbox it was windy and freezing cold.
Oh well, at least I don’t take myself too seriously…
Anyways, incase you didn’t realise, I don’t exactly sit down at the computer at the same time each morning to send this out to you.
Hence why it’s always in your inbox at exactly the same time each day.
I guess I kind of like routine.
We’re all creatures of habit to a degree.
I don’t know about you, but when you go to your favourite cafe, do you always sit in the same seat as normal? Just out of routine.
Same goes for parking spots if you have your choice at a shopping centre.
And the other good thing to have as a regular habit, where you don’t have to think about it, is of course your training and exercise routine.
The beauty of our sessions is you just have to turn up.
You know when it’s on.
You know where to go.
It just becomes the new normal.
It takes away the confusion, and just the thought, of having to worry about what you should be doing, and whether you’re doing something right.
Especially important when we all don’t have hours and hours of endless time to commit to the cause.
You just lock it in and turn up.
That’s the exact reason why I’ve been able to keep DPM running for the last 14 years at the end of next month.
And it’s also the exact reason why I send these out every day.
To build the habit for me writing regularly and to hopefully give you something that occasionally you find very helpful.
Once again, I just lock that time in to my diary each day.
Even if you have heard the same message before.
It just reinforces the point.
So my part of the bargain is I’ll keep sending these out, as long as people like you keep reading them and hopefully gaining benefit from them.
And as per always, another good habit for you to get into, apart from you actually doing the training, is spreading the DPM word.
Cause I’d love to shout you and your partner a $200 dinner gift voucher to any restaurant of your choice just for introducing someone to DPM.
You’ll get yours when they’ve been with us for only 6 months.
They’ll get one too.
And to keep with the reinforcing thing once more, they might just need that little extra reminder from you to take the initiative and drop me a line to tell me they’re interested.
So why not?
Especially at this time of year. Cause those cold and windy days won’t be around for much longer.
