Twas the night before Christmas, and all through the house, no DPMer was stirring, not even a mouse.
Okay maybe I won’t give up my day job yet and start poetry recitals,
but at least as of tomorrow, I can go back to my day job – the groups at least as I could thankfully still do the 1-on-1’s face to face.
And while I may not be as excited as a kid is on Christmas Eve, I am still excited that tomorrow we can get our Lilyfield early morning group up and running again in person.
So when you are tucked up in bed excited about coming tomorrow, try and get some sleep.
Obviously we are limited to 10 people – 9 plus me.
And obviously we are going to be socially distanced apart.
Tomorrow’s session is already full – and if you’re planning on coming to another day that you normally wouldn’t please let me know in advance so I can manage our numbers.
I don’t want to have to turn anyone away on the morning.
I’m also not comfortable with using equipment just now.
So we’ll be sticking with bodyweight exercises only and giving the usual foam rollers and tubes a pass for the time being.
If you want to bring your own, go for it.
I can’t for the life of me work out why all the other trainers that I’ve seen outside still working when I’ve been doing my 1-on-1 sessions are still using all their equipment.
But what would I know.
Maybe I’m overcautious here, but I don’t want to be the one responsible for someone catching the corona from one of my equipment options even if I am doing regular cleaning.
When numbers are consistently low and if we avoid a second phase over the next week or two, then I’ll bring them back in.
Enough of that though.
The good news is we’re back!
And it’s exciting.
On Tuesday each week I’ll send out the message via text to reserve your spot for Friday’s session.
First in best dressed.
The other days we should be okay for but I’ll obviously implement it for those too if we need it.
There will also be a waiting list for Friday so if you can no longer make your spot, please let me know ASAP so I can pass it on.

PS – just to confirm that we’ll be doing zoom workouts still. So you can still join in from home if you’re working from home, or for Friday when we’re at capacity.
