That sweet little white devil may well be legal, but it’s pretty damn addictive.

Just ask any kid what they want to eat and they aren’t going to tell you broccoli.

They’ll take the sugar hit each and every time.

So it’s easy to see how as adults we can feel addicted to it.
They got us in early.

And to all the parents to be who say they’ll never let their kids eat that rubbish all I can do is lay back and laugh. And laugh. Just like in that Leonardo DiCaprio meme.

Cause I’ll believe that when I see it.

Anyways, back to why you’re here.

If you’re looking to reduce your sugar imprint these tips that I found may help.

The first one is to work out what your triggers are that lead you to that sugar hit.

Is it a time of day thing?

A boredom thing?

A stress thing?

An emotional thing – ie angry, sad?

Or a just because thing?

Cause that’s what usually happens?

That’s the first step.

Once you know what your triggers are, then you can work on a plan to either cut it out totally if that’s what you want, or to reduce it so it isn’t always your fall back when that trigger kicks in.

Cause it will, so we need a plan.

Maybe you need a food substitute that isn’t sugar related?

Maybe you just are thirsty and need to drink.

Maybe if you need something in your hand a cup of herbal tea might do the job?

Maybe it’s something like doing 5 push ups every time you have that craving. Get them done and have some water and the feeling may well pass.

There’s only one way to find out.

Just remember progress over perfection and you’re sweet.

Cause you don’t have to nail every day.

Just keep taking steps each day.
