Last Thursday kicked off another milestone – another month of winter done with only one month until the tide turns and Spring happens.

And yes, as we were discussing during our Thursday morning session, our winter isn’t exactly comparable to those in the northern hemisphere, or even down further south here, but it’s still cold for us.

Anyways, with that in mind, I’ve got a challenge for you if you’re up for it.

Let’s have a 90 day focus that will keep us focused over the last month of winter and over the start of spring heading into the back end of the year.

I started mine on Thursday.

And if you’re interested this is the deal.

Basically, you come up with some outcomes that you want to achieve in the next 90 days. 

To keep maths simple lets say between now – the start of August, and the end of October.

Then rather than just having some pie in the sky wish list we break it down, firstly into 30 day and then 60 day goals.

That way we get to see if we’re on track and what, if anything, needs to be tweaked or improved.

The small 30 day benchmark is a great way to break the bigger goal down into a smaller, and more realistic challenge.

This challenge is also a good way to work out what obstacles are going to come up that can potentially stop that goal from happening.

Then we can work on implementing what we need to do to overcome those obstacles so we are prepared when they come up.

So I’m going to make it an offical timeline of 90 days for this.

1) Work out what you want to achieve in the next 90 days (it can be more than one thing)

2) Break that down into 30 day and 60 day benchmarks – so what do you have to do by those landmarks to know that you’re on the right path?

3) Write down the obstacles that are going to stop you from achieving whatever that 90 day goal is

4) Write down what you can implement to overcome those obstacles so that you’re prepared for when they arrive.
